Assign Company Code to Company

Okay, now since we have created the Solar Group and Sun Limited in isolation, now we have to link the Sun Limited to Solar Group so that the system knows that the Sun Limited company code is a subset of Solar Group because the way we created the Solar Group and Sun Limited, we created them separately.

There’s no way the system can know how these two different objects are linked. For example, let me go to the company I created. Sun Solar Group. Okay, this is the one. Nowhere in the Solar Group, I am mentioning Sun Limited as a subset of Solar Group. Similarly, let me open another section.

Okay, let me go to IMG. Let me go to Company Code. Edit Company Code Data and Sun Limited. Okay, you see this? I have the company, which is Solar Group, and this one is the company code, which is Sun Limited, and if you compare both screens, nowhere is there a link between Sun Limited and Solar Group. Okay. So we have to create this link.

 

 

See this line here, we have to create this link here so that the system will know that Sun Limited is a subset of Solar group, so I’m going to do that. You have to go to assignment.
